Making stamps. by NeonDefined Making stamps. by NeonDefined
What I mean by this, is I'm tired of people making stamps eaither in opinion or spite, and not expecting to be some people shouting their opinion or disagreeing with them.

There are the occasional cute stamps, that usually don't offend or put anyone on the defensive side.

If the stamp is made ofr a discussion as such, FINE.

Just don't go complaining and calling people whiners when they say something.
Like for example, I'm expecting a discussion for this one. It'll eventually come. Weather someone is going to agree or disagree.

Make a stamp, fine. Just don't think you can say what ever you'd like without someone saying something.

I almost forgot, the template is from: [link]

If you don't want to discuss, then it is perfectly okay to disable comments. Or, if you don't want to do that, just ignore the ones you get. I read every comment I get, but I don't have to reply. Although, I don't know why people will block so easily.

I was saying in general. Disabling comments as you said, is a great way to by pass the discussion all together. But a lot of people don't bother.

You're right, then. If they don't want to bother dealing with the comments that they KNOW they're going to get, they need to rethink putting the stamp up.

Sometimes it is difficult to discuss about something in English. I for example blocked comments of my nuclear power stamp because I can discuss about it in Finnish but not much in English. But sometimes also English speakers block comments.

Sometimes the message in the stamp is not the opinion of the stamp maker. If someone is a good stamp maker then other deviants can ask if (s)he could make a stamp for his/her. For example if someone wants a stamp about wolves then a stamp maker can make a stamp about wolves for that person and block the comments because (s)he is not a huge fan of wolves and (s)he don't want to read all stupid "wolfaboo" insults.

I get your point. But the stamp maker still has to have in mind, that theres going to be at least one, if not more, people complaining. Blocking comments /is a good way to ignore it, But I think it's a waste of time, and ignorant.
Posting a stamp, Like for me for example.
I know in the back of my mind, someone is going to disagree with this. But I'm not going to hide their comments because they give their opinion.
I am all about people having a different opinion or statement, but I just am tired of people getting upset or defensive when someone adds in what they have to say.

There's going to be the occasional rude people, but it's the internet. It happens.
